It is merely a term used to describe the size of a dog that is smaller than average and standard breeds. Our teacup puppies range from 1.5-3kg (3-6lbs), our minis such as Cavalier King Charles and Greyhounds range from 3-5kg, Pomskies 8-10kg. Some breeds have slightly larger bone structure, therefore weighing a few more grams/pounds. Although we estimate the size and weight of the puppies, it is by no means a guarantee
Weight estimations are based on the parents of the given puppy along with the current size, using a puppy weight calculator and the vet’s expertise. Due to these factors, a puppy may end up smaller or bigger than estimated to be. Exercise and diet will also affect the size and weight of the dog. Just like us, they’re prone to weight fluctuations. No breeder can guarantee the size of a puppy
Our breeder has been breeding teacup puppies since 1998. Korean puppies are known for their tiny compact size, shiny silky coats and doll like faces. Our breeder takes care of each and every puppy from birth, ensuring a healthy start to their lives. Korea has the experience and expertise in breeding teacups
This is a common misconception, teacups are bred from small parents, therefore it’s purely science based
Teacups are just like any other little puppy, but as they’re smaller than an average sized puppy, they need more care and attention. They need regular feeding, in case of hypoglycaemia and your puppy becomes unresponsive, immediately rub a small amount of honey on the puppies gums. Repeat the process if necessary. If they’re still unresponsive you’ll need to take your puppy to the vet or animal hospital without delay. Their health also depends on their lifestyle and diet, regular vet check ups, vaccines and annual boosters. Please make sure to register with a reputable vet
The average life span is 9 to 15 years for a teacup or toy sized dog, this is longer than larger breeds. Their lifespan also depends on how you take care of the puppy, just like any other standard sized breed
We only work with fully licensed reputable breeders registered with the Korean Kennel Club. The health and well-being of our puppies and kittens is of utmost importance
If in doubt, ask to do a video call. Some brokers don’t offer this service. Our breeder offers video calls to all our clients. Since the boutique is located in Seoul, South Korea, not all our clients are able to visit or collect from the boutique. This is why we offer video calls, delivery via pet cargo or with a puppy nanny in cabin
Please be cautious of any teacup puppy listing in the $200-1500 price range, the chances are it’s a a scam. Please note that true teacups are EXPENSIVE, they’re not for everyone, it’s a niche market, therefore please think carefully before considering to purchase one. For anyone looking for a teacup puppy under $2000 this is NOT a true teacup price
Scammers will tell you what you want to hear. They’ll tell you that they can deliver to your door (in some cases it’s possible but only with the services of a reputable pet shipper which will be an additional cost). They’ll promise you a certain adult weight and their prices won’t add up. For instance if a person is guaranteeing you’ll have a 1.3kg fully grown puppy, be very careful! Although it’s possible in certain breeds it’s extremely rare even in teacups
We do not recommend teacups for every family, particularly if you have small children or bigger breeds. Teacup babies must be handled with the care. suggest looking for a standard sized breed locally. This is a niche market. We also advise looking at reviews of brokers, and making sure they work with fully licensed and reputable breeders
The price of puppies has tripled over the last 3 years due to the Covid pandemic, breeders of standard sized dogs used this opportunity to increase their prices. Our prices increase from time to time when airlines increase airfares
Clients often come to us having been misinformed about their puppy. Pet shops and certain breeders often misinform clients just to make a sale, please be cautious and do your research to avoid disappointment
The breeders that breed tiny puppies put a lot of time into them and know their value and do not sell them cheap. They need around the clock care until they’re old enough to travel. It is a full-time job to provide good care to each puppy for the first 4 months. This is to ensure a healthy and happy puppy is delivered to their forever home
The Mothers only have between 1-3 babies in each litter, they can also only have a maximum of 2-4 times in their lifetime depending on how the pregnancy is for the mother. We always ensure the safety of our mothers over everything
Our teacup puppy prices usually start from $3500 and above, this includes shipping and is the standard starting price for true teacups. If this exceeds your budget, we recommend trying local dog rescue shelters for adoption. True teacup puppies are very expensive to breed, to care for from birth until the age of 4 months old. Our European clients need to wait until 7 months
Chihuahuas can only be delivered with a puppy nanny since they are no longer allowed in pet cargo, this is an additional cost for the nanny to accompany them from Seoul to your destination
